Each of the lessons in Module 2 are based on relationships, in particular, teenagers’ relationships with themselves and others.
In these lessons, students will learn valuable life skills that will help them navigate the complexities of life and their relationships with others more successfully and effectively.
In this day and age with technology and social media infiltrating every aspect of their lives, teenagers’ BODY IMAGE is at an all time low. Teenagers are inundated with images of the perfect body on social media. Even though these images are not real, as they have been edited and photoshopped, they affect teenagers’ feelings of self-worth which in turn impacts how they view, think and feel about their physical self.
This lesson looks at what BODY IMAGE is and provides students with insight and strategies on how to have healthy BODY IMAGE and accept themselves just as they are.
Having healthy BODY IMAGE is an important life skill as it supports students’ mental well-being and helps them to live a BIG LIFE!
